  • The claim reference and the insurer reference
  • The address of the damaged building
  • The date and cause of the loss, as far as it is known
  • A telephone number for whoever can give access

What happens next

    Validation. References and required details are checked before the notification is accepted.

    Acknowledgement. A file is opened and a named handler takes ownership.

  3. 3

    Triage call. The handler confirms access, safety and urgency with the contact you name.

  4. 4

    Mobilisation. A stabilisation crew or surveyor is instructed inside the authority on the file.
